As Richmond County Historical Society looks forward to its fiftieth anniversary in 2012, it recognizes that one of the most significant changes to the social landscape of Richmond County and vicinity is the disappearance of so many of the area’s churches, once the cornerstones of the communities. From Davidson Hill in the west, Trout Brook in the east, Sydenham to the north and Brompton to the south, only a few of these country churches remain. The larger churches in the towns of the area have undergone major change over the years. Vintage photographs, together with recent ones depict some of the Protestant and Roman Catholic churches in the area.

The cost is $15.00 per calendar and will be available at the Ice Cream Social, the Museum, local merchants or by mail (with $5.00 mailing charge) at:
